Tunis

Carthage

Sidi Bou Said
Sidi Bou Said is only twenty kilometers from Tunis and is one of the most picturesque port towns you can visit. There are a selection of souvenir shops and the area is a popular art area.

Kairouan
Kairouan is another UNESCO World Heritage Site which is worth a visit complete with stunning mosques and a Medina with a bustling souk. Souks are traditional markets where you can buy a range of great souvenirs and gifts.

Sbeitla
This is a small town with a choice of Roman ruins to explore including the Forum temples, triumphal arch, baths and a host of other fantastic ruins enabling you to soak up some of this country’s historical past.

Tozeur
This oasis city is filled with palm trees and spectacular architecture. Take some time to wander around the Medina (old town), explore the narrow passages and covered alleys as you gaze at the amazing local architecture.

Matmata
Matmata is the dream of any Star Wars fan. This Berber town uses troglodytes, which are homes built underground and is where you will find Luke Skywalkers home, which is now a hotel with many of the film sets and memorabilia on display.

Port El Kantaoui
This is a very popular seaside holiday destination. A chance to relax on a beautiful beach, enjoy some watersports and relax while you enjoy the wonderfully warm climate of Tunisia.
