Tunisia is an area located high up in North Africa, located on the Mediterranean Sea offering beautiful natural beauty and rich in history and culture. If you are a fan of the Star Wars movies then you will remember the beautiful buildings and planets that made the film such a hit, what many don’t realize is that four of the Star Wars movies were partially filmed in Tunisia, taking advantage of the natural beauty and magnificent historical buildings which are on display for you to explore today. Tataouine in the movie was Tunisia from Luke Skywalkers home to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s house, Toshi Station to the Star Wars Canyon. Djerba is a beautiful island off Tunisia and was used for two of the movies locations, Ben’s hermitage is actually used as fishermans storage, but you will remember it as Obi-Wan Kanobi’s house in Star Wars IV and Toshi Station is actually a temple called Sidi Jemour.
